Check Engine light (Eagle Vision 95)

I know this is the wrong Forum but the cars are very alike and the Eagle Vision forum is kinda empty.
After a time driving I get the Check Engine light which stays on till I turn the car off and when turning on is gone. I drove that car to Advanced autoparts for them to connect the Code reader they got but they said they didn't have the right tool for it. (It seemed to me that the guy just didn't know where he had to connect it to)
I looked in my Haynes book and I saw something called the "DRB Connector". Is that the place to connect the error code reader to and is there another way to check what the Check Engine light means without the error code scan tool?

Yup, The Check Engine light can flash you codes, all codes are 2 digits so for a single code there will be a flashing sequence for the first digit then a pause then flashes the second digit. To put the car in diagnostics turn your ignition key "ON-OFF-ON-OFF-ON" then observe the Check Engine Light, it will stay on afor a few seconds then go out, then count the flashes to the pause and write the first digit down, then watch the second set of flashes until the pause and write that number down, keep watching the light and writing down the numbers until it goes out completely.
There will always be 1 code on the computer 55, that means end of message, so you will have more than 1 code if there is a problem.

Ah, thank you. I thought those iginition key tests only worked for the 96 and newer ones. (I probably mixed something up)
I will test it in a minute and hope I have better luck than when I did it with my neon (it had too many error codes to count)

Thank you again. It worked, I got the code 33.
Code 33:
Air conditioning clutch relay circuit. An open or shorted condition detected in the compressor clutch relay circuit.
Now I "only" have to do some research to find out how to fix the problem.

Check your Relay in the Power Distribution Box, it might be bad or missing. Swap it with one of the other relays (they are all the same) and see if the A/C works and the circuit you swapped relays with doesn't. But I don't think a code 33 will light the check engine light.
