door panel etc.

I have a 94 prelude si. My drivers side door lock mechanism is broken so i cant open the door from the inside OR the outside. I need to get the door panel off but cant due to the fact that i cant open the door. I havent tried to take the panel off yet, but i was wondering if anyone could help me figure out how to get door open so i can take the door panel off.

you could try having a locksmith open it, or try and get at the release rod through the top of the door panel or through the inside handle plastic. just a thought.

Use a metal coat hanger, bend it accordingly, and pull up the release part of the lock. Hondas are way too easy to break into.

Easily....Due to the fact that you can't take the panel off because the door is closed, take off the inside control panel (where the bottoms are) do this very careful cause you can break the plastic border specially the side closed to the inside door handle. It's hold by a screw (that's behind the inside door handle cover by a black small cap) and a few clips. So after taking it off, you gonna have just the inside door handle, so pull the cable that goes connected to the inside open/close bottom (to the right o left I dunno which way it is) and You should be able to open the door.
