I have a 95 jeep cherokee that has been good to me throughout the years but over the past week it has been giving me a hard time starting. turning over didn't really seem to get worse as the week went on until the last day or so. yesterday i drove to work and i thought oh crap but it started and seemed to work fine and it does run fine once it is going. after work it wouldn't turn over but it at least tried to a lttle. the lights didn't dim and the radio works fine. the only light that stays on is the check oil light when i try to start it. today it just gives a very small eh and nothing . a month ago it started to act up and i changed my cap, rotor, plugs and wires and the problem went right away. a couple days ago i bought some carb cleaner and sprayed it in the throttle body but it did nothing and i have no clue. it would be greatful for any ideas. thanks

i figured what the hell and bought a starter like you said. the thing was $200.00 before they credit you like $30 for bringing in the old one but that is beside the point. it was easy to change and the jeep stared right up thanks.
