I have a Lumina 3.1 and I wanna know if I can put the dash from an Euro. I want the RPM. Does it fit right in it?

My guess would be that it fits, there is an existing wire just to show rpms in non-Euro models, the issue of it fitting i'm not sure. If it doesn't fit you have the option of putting a mini tach on your dash/steering column ( a 3 inch size is perfect), but a stock dash has a cleaner look, good luck!

I'm in the process of putting this on my 90 Lumina.

I like the windshield pillar pods for gauges, but I haven't seen any for Luminas. I bet there is one that would work, though. I'd sure like to know what it is, if anybody knows.

You can use the Euro Dash cluster, it will slide right in, however, if you have the base cluster now, the tach will not work unless you run a wire from your Ignition module to the pin for the tach. The wire from the ignition module is white. I've forgotten what tach pin is, but any junkyard euro with the tach will still have the white wire in the wiring harness leading to the cluster, and will show you the pin (the pins on the harness are labeled c1-c16 & d1-d16)

Oh, and Jeff, I got an A-pillar 2 gauge pod from pep-boys. They sell 2 & 3 gauge universal pods. you have to heat it with a hair dryer so that it will conform to your A-pillar. It comes in black, I painted mine to match my interior. I think I paid about $100 for the pod, and two gauges.

I don't want to mount a tachometer on my dash, I want the Euro cluster. And for that, must I install something else from the motor to my dash? Somebody told me that I would fit right in it.
