If the Geo Metro 3 cylinder engine (56 hp) was adapted from a
Suzuki Motorcyle by water cooling it, WHAT kind of motorcycle
was it used in !!!!
My God, that motorcycle must have been one monster!
My Geo zips around with lots of power and it weighs 1,300 lbs. !
Does anyone know what the motorcycle the 1.0 Lt engine was in
weighed and its name/model/etc so I can go see one?
What is the hp on a big Harley Davidson cycle?

Suzuki's 3-cyl. motorcycle engines were all 2 strokes...the Metro's is a 4 stroke. they do not burn oil (at least, not on purpose), & they have a camshaft & valves...the 2 strokes do not have these. As for Harley 2-strokes, they don't make them, except for a few Italian-made dirt bikes a few years back.

I dunno where ur gettin your info, but the 1.0 was designed for, and only used in cars. Some people make small aircraft engines out of them. The metro also does not weigh 1300lbs, it's more around 1650-1800 depending on the trim model. The axle weight listed in the door is not the car's full curb weight. As small as the 3cyl is, it is still designed completely too tall, wide, and top heavy for use in a motorcycle. Also, most motorcycles don't have an external transmission.
