hey i was doing some looking ont he internet and i found this:

What do you guys think of this. it says that it can do up to 25pis (i know i not going to run it that high) but the way to get a higher PIS is that a matter of changing the wastegate right. last what part do you NEED to put a turbo in a prelude. Thanx Hellbringer

Besides the obvious stuff you'll probably need bigger injectors, some sort of fuel management, and a way to tune the ECU, either a piggy-back system or stand-alone engine management. Depending on how much boost you run you'll also need an intercooler. Anything higher than 7psi and I'd strongly recommend resleeving the engine and using forged pistons and connecting rods.

I'm not very knowledgable about turbos, but I think for your motor, a T3 might be a little small. At least that seems to be the consensus on other boards. For a 2.0 liter and above engine, a T3/T4 would work better than most applications.

Can anybody back this information up? I'm only recycling stuff that I've read on other boards, but as far as accuracy goes, I'm not sure.

a t3 is a little small, but the t3/t4 is good for your car... i'm about to put a turbo on mine in a couple months, and all you need is about 14 psi. just do a little bit of research and you'll find just what you need.

14PSI seems fairly obscene, unless you're talking about 14PSI on the T3. On a high flowing Garrett hybrid it will rip FRM apart.

hmm, i thought the T3 couldn't put out as much as the T3/T4... but then again, i'm fairly new to the turbo world.

i don't know too much about turbos, but turbo set-ups made for an H22A come with 440cc injectors, which are dyno proven to be the best choice and are able to withstand 400 hp... i may be wrong about that one, but i believe that's what i've heard... and the turbo, i wouldn't nessecarily resleeve the engine, but i would use forged pistons and connecting rods.

ok, i would recommend getting the JUN pistons, b/c they are the only pistons that are compatible with the H series FRM lining... so there is no resleeving required. JUN seems to be a very good product for the prelude... esp. if you plan on making it turbo.

The JUN pistons are only for NA applications. But maybe one day someone can get JUN would churn out FRM compatible low compression pistons? Those would sell faster than hotcakes.

oh, i didn't know they were for N/A only... that's stupid... but oh well
