No suprise that the Prelude will be no more, but still it was a great car.

I am a big fan of the RSX, I'll give you that, but this car is no Prelude. Not to say that it is inferior the Prelude, or anything along those lines, but a Prelude it is not. Maybe I'll eat those words someday if I test drive one and find it to drive much more like a Prelude than an Integra.. but based on the dimensions and early test driving reports by the automotive press, I am not prepared to do so.

Have to agree with you there. RS-X is NOT a Prelude replacement.
But then again it isn't meant to be;) It's an Integra replacement and the Prelude is being retired. Hopefully someday in the future they'll bring the Prelude back with at least a V-6 so that it can compete.

all the more reason for me to turn this car into a keeper! It's a damn shame the buying public always skips over the very best of the fwd coupes, the Corrado VR6 suffered this same, undeserved fate. Yet these two cars are my all time favorite compacts, and many enthusiasts and journalists agree with me.

Yeah i'm glad that i kept my prelude...however i did hear about some problems with the ecu on the new RSX, so be careful before purchasing them and make sure the dealer has had them fixed
Peace

i didn't see it coming (if it wasn't for all the talk on here about it) because i see soo many of them, in our city there are as many preludes as there is like accords... well maybe not that many but pretty close like 4:3 ratio

Matt:
I like my exhaust...Actually i wish it were a little louder, but at idle you can barely hear it, about as loud as stock, but then when u punch it it has a nice deep sound to it, not annoyingly loud though. I think it gave me more mid-upper range power. Overall its a nice cat-back exhaust, and something that'll keep you out of trouble with the cops, however at WOT it'll give you the sound you're looking for.
