Umm, well you see it does this...trick. And it's umm, well, better because of it! ;)

I'm not sure what your question really is. Is there a site or pic that we can reference?

 Do you mean taking a stock intake and modifying it by cutting a bigger hole in the bottom?

Trick is just a slang term for modified or special in some way when talking about car parts. It doesn't mean anything in particular.

It's only on the GTI-R because it was Nissan's homologation special for the World Rally Championship. I don't think it will fit other SR20 variants because it has differently shaped ports.

What T4 said. :D Also people generally don't refer to the GTi-R manifold as being 'trick'. There was a pretty nice race only manifold that was built, can't remember the link. That would be considered trick.

George you know what I'm talking about. Would you happen to have a link?

Nope not that one. The one I'm thinking of was made in the US. It was a replacement for the single throttle body manifold, had a plenum and everything.

P11GT, the GTi-R intake manifold won't work unless you get a GTi-R block to go with it. You could modify one I guess but noones done it yet.

so the manifold on a GTi-R are like individual throttle bodies it seems like?? if so, wow that car must get crappy gas mileage!! :D
