After car sits more than eight hours, battery goes dead and there seems to be nothing on that would be drainning the battery.

Is your battery O.K.? If it is then do this:

If you have or can get your hands on an automotive multimeter diagnosing would be easier and faster.

Disconnect the positive cable from the battery and insert the multimeter in series, positive lead on the battery, negative on the cable, on the ammeter function. Choose the appropriate range if you have that option. (Digital multimeters are usually auto-ranging, analogs are not.)

Note the current reading and have a helper start removing fuses. There is likely to be more than one device drawing current (clock, computer, etc.) Look for a device that wouldn't normally be on (drawing current). Also look for something that draws an abnormally high current.

If you can't get a multimeter, your going to have to pull fuses and see what's happening overnight.

Hope this helps.
