I am buying a Bluebird SR20DET with only 12,000 miles on it in very good shape from a reputable seller. I was wondering this: would you think that I should still replace the rod bearings, and possibly rebuild the turbo, as it has such low miles? I am replacing the waterpump and probably main seals regardless, but what do you guys think?

Definitely replace the rod bearings.
Check the turbo for shaft end play. There should be none. If there is barely (I mean barely) detectable end play, you may want to get it rebuilt. If there is very detectable end play, don't even install it in the car. Get it rebuilt.
