Hello, I have a 98 Dodge Neon 2.0 Liter with SOHC. I changed the spark plugs last week and now the car is idling real low although it runs ok but when I come to a stop or something it almost cuts off on me, this didn't start until I changed the spark plugs last week. Is there anything I can do to resolve this problem? :banghead:

Thanks
Dave

Don't know if its the fuel pump but I'll check anyway. Someone said to check throttle body and clean it.

Might be a dumb question but...did you gap the plugs correctly? hehe :naughty:

Well when I bought the plugs that was the first thing I asked were they already set and the guy said yes they were ready to install. I bought them from Autozone. I also made sure I had hooked up the wires in the right order 1 2 3 4.

Well, this is a redundant response but....check the gap anyway. I got my Champions from Autozone and the guy checked up on the computer and said "Yep, the gap for em is .035 for your car. They're pre-gapped for ya too." BS. When I checked em, the first was .032, the second was .045(!), and the other two were around .040. If you didn't check em, I'd do it anyway for safety's sake.

Also, what plugs are you runnin? It just seems funny that a change of plugs would cause such problems....*shrugs* Sorry I can't help more! :uhoh:
