hey guys, im new to this site, and i have a 98 lumina LS, its in very good condition but 98 thousand miles, but im in the process of doing a lot to it, i have already put 800$ of electronics into it and it sounds very good. all i need now is to put an amp and a subwoofer into it and it will be complete.
I was also looking at some blue headlights, i wonder if they are street legal. im also looking at a muffler, and i dont think i can find anything that fits it, ive been looking at some flowmasters and im gonna talk to a guy tomorrow. but luminas arent as bad as u all think they might be if u are having problems. youre just not taking care of them as well as i am because i havent had any problems.
I put a new air filter into it too and it rides better. adds a few horse to it, maybe 5-10. it was a FRAM AIR HOG, i got it from autozone. it was 45 dollars, but worth it, because the paper ones are not very good. people who have had trouble with oil leaking or changing, i dont know what to tell you, take care of it better, but i have not had a problem with my Lumina, mine is in good condition so i have had no problems. Post tomorrow and i will get back to you. I'll also post tomorrow too. Bye

800$ of electronics into it and it sounds very good. all i need now is to put an amp and a subwoofer into it and it will be complete $800!?!?!!? :eek7: And you still dont have any subs?? geez...
Well what all you got in there that was worth $800 then? :iceslolan
Throw a flowmaster on it, I got one on my Corsica, sounds sweet. Almost like a V8 when it idles. And if you want a good intake look for a CAI for it. The stock airbox resrticts air flow like crazy.

When did you get the car? Cuz if you just got it trust me, the problems are well on their way. As is with any other car that has almost 100k miles on it.
Good luck with it. :bigthumb:

hey, its a Chevy, its quality, It will last forever, and if something does go wrong, it wont be that major, or costly to replace.

Please don't desecrate the awe of the lumina's quiet ride with fart pipes! One thing I love about this car is that I can't even hear the engine running. The body style would actually work with the blue lights. That trunk can hold some substantial bass, and have still have room in your trunk.
