Im tring to replace the o2 sensor in my 99 tahoe, I went to a local autoparts house and bought the Bosch brand recommended only to get home and find out that the connections didnt fit, my tahoe has a female (4 wire) connection in a "row" {0000}, The sensor that was recommended was a "box" pattern {88}.
I proceeded to return the o2 sensor and they said that I might have a late model that uses 2000 parts, so I exchanged. When I finally got home and let the engine cool, I disconnected the old o2 and low and behold the electrical connection from the truck is female as is the connection end on the new o2 sensor. I really dont like giving my money to dealerships. Has anybody out there run into this problem before???
Ive tried Bosch #13747
and Bosch #13027
#13027 would work if it had a male end.
Thanks alot for any advice.
