ef civic weight

can anyone give me the ef civics weight. i dont know the models so id appreciate it if u gave me the weight of each ef model. thanks

mine weighs 2385lbs with me in the car, including the the WW body kit. Its an Si too.

On the weighbridge, mine was 1097 with me sitting in it and I wighed 67kilos at the time. No ICE and only the Honda 15s on it.

oes anyone know how heavy my 1989 Civic Dx Hatchback 5 spd manual weighs??? It says on the side of the inside of the door around 2800 lbs. The registration says a little different. This can't be right can it??? 2800 lbs??? Geez, my buddy picked the back of the car off of the ground.

yeh i have 17" chromes, 12" sub in thick wooden box, jensen 500w amp, all the electric shit, rear fogs, and the washer bottle was full too lol

I think thats the GROSS weight (4 people in the car) you want to find the CURB weight. You car prolly weighs like 2100lbs i bet.

Whoops... I'm always forgetting that... der... Yeah, US CRX Si also gets the sunroof that goes to crap. I don't think I've ever seen one last. Mine worked for a couple of months and rusted to crap. Every time I took corner it sounded like mice running around my headliner. I replaced it three times with plexiglass... it's a learning experience. So, in conclusion US spec may suck, but it sure beats domestic anyday... :2cents:

the sunroofs here rust to shit and everyone is yet to find a replacement except for the CF ones

My sunroof is fine although the rubber seal is going around it - the heat of summer has warped it a bit. But no rust or leaks after 14 years on the car. Then again, Hondas dont seem to rust as badly in Australia.

yeah but pete the CRX sunroofs are made of steel the civics are made of glass, i think he is refering to the "skin" of the sunroof, the runners on mine and the mounting points are starting to rust i might take it out and repaint it just to be safe, and the UK sucks for rust, coz of the shite weather!

heheheh - 42-49 degree Celsius summers make rust a bit of a non-event :p

I'd hate to live on the beaches of Sydney though - I think rust might be a problem then :D
