well I am thinking seriously about keeping this car longer than i intended, which means I will get bored easily of the stock look and performance...
now even with 200,000 kms on it I figure the way it drives, I think it's not a huge loss to have fun and throw mymoney into restoring or modifying....
next to brakes, I am looking at exhaust sytems...something with a little more gain or pep than the original stock one..not to mention the cost of a new OEM stock exhasust....has anyone modified the sound of thier 944 and had anything but bad complaints? I mean, I wanna be heard but not like a deafaning hear, or fart can sound like hondas.. I want my car to have a nice rummble...what do you guys think/.what have you tried?

ohh and keep in mind in canada there is no rules for cars exceeding the age of 20 years..so I am all good as far as emissions and noisiness...

Well, you can buy the Borlas and the B+Bs which are great if you can afford it. I've had the best luck with finding a local muffler shop that can bend up their own pipe and have them cut off the exhaust right in front of the cat. Then run 2 1/4 back to the muffler location. I've seen Super trapps but I prefer Flow master mufflers. Use all the stock hangers. Its a simple job for a qualified shop. I paid $240 for the whole job including the flow master. Its not too loud at all until its gets to about 3800 rpms then it really opens up. Power gains were noticible. Compliment the exhaust with a nice cold air, free flowing intake air filter and chip. You 'll be happy for a while!
