Weapon R or K/N

Hey guys, wanted your opinions, which would be better, a Weapon R short ram intake or a generic short ram pipe with a nice K/N filter??? the K/n is cheaper, but idc about the cost. just want more horses!

k&n will last longer...

I have a weapon r intake right now and i love it. It sounds great, looks cool, and a definate increase in hp. In high rpms it seems like a 12hp gain
over my stock. I got mine off ebay with the dragon air filter

k/n is cheaper and you can reuse it. and they're actually pretty good.

hey integra, i was actually looking at those weapon r's with the dragon air intake. do you know anything about the other weapon R shortram intakes, i mean the ones with the hyper v2 filter or whatever??

I have a weapon R intake with a K&N filter on the end, the K&N extreme. It came with the dragon filter (i think) with foam element. I didn't like it, didn't think it filtered well, but lots of airflow. I didn't notice any drop in performance when I changed filters though.
