Here's my problem: the black stripping (on the exterior) around my back window is chipping and i wanted to know if anyone knows how i can fix it? I was thinking of stripping it down to the metal and just repainting it, but it doesn't seem like the best idea. Short of going to the dealership to get an OE replacement, i have no other ideas. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Unless you take it somewhere to be replaced the only other way is 2 paint it. man that sucks

im thinking that the rear window molding is actuelly put on before the glass gets put in the car, most of it is, so dont try to take it off or you will reagret it and i know from a past experiance, either take it in and get the rear window taken out and get new molding from honda or paint it, good luck

a really quick fix it would be applying engine oil on it, it makes the faded paint a little darker and protect's it a little from the sun,
