Check out K&N. I think by far they are the best, improved throttle and you get a nice little sounds outta it too

get a 30 dollar one off ebay. does the same thing. although you may only gain 2 whp, instead of 3whp.

its actually the filter at the end of your intake that would matter more than anything else.

Yeah signal is correct. The pipes are all the same, you can even make a costum one and attach a good filter, such as a K&N one and itll be the same.

yeah exactly which is why i was asking which filter is better, the regular dragon foam intakes by weapon r or the other hyper v2 ones?????

Buy either pipe....Weapon R is cheaper. Then buy a K&N cone filter for the end of the pipe. Just find out the diameter of the end of the pipe so you know what size filter to get.

Better name brands have intakes that are dynoed and the pipe bends are optimal for faster, smoother flow. They are also smog legal in CA.
Generic intakes will gain power but not as much as name brands.
I would go with AEM, i don't really like Weapon R intakes, foam filters aren't very good compared to cotton K&N.

Yeah when you buy named brand your mainly paying the extra $$ for the carb sticker. as for weapon R intake's being #1, where are you guys getting this info from? the Weapon R intake Advertisements? of course they're going to say they have the best intake. i say go AEM if you can afford it. If not a nice generic with a KN cone filter works nicely. i suggest the AEM if you life in Cali.
