Figured I'd ask around first.
Has anyone changed the rubber seal on their '89 or '90 Prelude? I'm curious what kind of task I'm looking at and what it took to get the job done.

Also, estimated cost of the seal would be appreciated. (yeah, i could call honda, but I figure those who have done it might have found a better source) thanks. :)

Its not a hard task. You might want to call honda for the seal. You dont want a used one. I replaced the whole sunroof so i dont know the cost. When you replace it dont forget to clean out the drain tubes. They are located in the trunk. Go here http://www.prelude3g.com. It will tell you where the hoses are. It might help you with the sunroof 2.

very cool, thanks man.

what's the best way to clean the tubes? I was thinking about 'rooting' it out with piano wire..

I'll check that site as well.. did changing the seal involve disassembling the sunroof mechanism or pulling the headliner or is it just something I'll look at and go, "OHHHhhhhhh" and smack my forehead? :)
