gsr has 160 hp prelude 200 hp and a gst and 210. i personally would go for the gst because there more rare and is the fastest

i would take a prelude or a gsr over a gst any day. my friend owns a gst and he says that he's pushing 260 horse. i dont believe him cause he ran a 14.7 on 1/4 a couple days ago. just my opinion. good luck.

i believe the gsr is 170 hp and the prelude is 195 hp
what will the car be for? work/race/leisure/family??
any of those cars are pretty fast already

mitsubishi are horrible after 100k miles, i know a lot of people with gsx'gst/rs/ eclipses and even a few galants and they have had to replace a whole lot of stuff after 100k, its not worth the money, regardless of the turbo. the lude can be made very fast as well as the integra, they are the more reliable choices and thats what my vote goes towards.

persoanlly i'd take the gst over the others i had the same choices a few years ago when i was about to buy my car. Either of those are ok but all comes down to how well they've been maintained. My gst is well over 100k miles since i've fixed all the shit the prev owners have done wrong, my car has been alright. just be warned, u can have the dependability of a honda or the power of a dsm. and no matter how much work needs to be done to the car, there are tons of dsm guys out there who wre always glad to help. on the other hand, hondas are a lot easier to mod... in most cases

GSR - The modability and the B18 are incredible. You'll get more options. I wouldn't mind having a GSR.
Prelude for the originality though. Tegs are like assholes, everyone has one.

No, you wont. Period. You'll probably need some sort of forced induction to keep up with that league of cars.

o ok like a turbo or supercharger yeah i know they r pretty quick i was hoping i would atleast be able to make it a close race, could i keep up with any other mods cause dropping a turbo is really to much money for me to put into the enegine

i personally don't like dsm's at all, but there's locals around here that run high 11's low 12's (with quite a bit of modding mind you). you'd be really hard pressed to get a lude or teg that fast in the quarter. as far as keeping up with evo's and sti's.... buy one.

i agree with you...my friend has a 97 gst and when he first got it.. it was at 95k and my gsr was only 60k and i would race him and he would own me sometimes but then a couple thousand of more miles added on to his engine and now his engine isnt doing the job that it use to...i beated him by a car

i would prolly say pick the prelude...a 4th gen one that's vtec... man those things are fast... i woulda bought a prelude too but my older bro has that car already... man he took me by surprise... even though i had the higher rev than he does.. i had the jump in the begining but then every shift i took he seemed to come closer then finally passed up...i shifted at 7800 rpm too... but yea i'll show respect to the lude...

u want a daily pretty fast Car get a GSR or Lude..
u want something fast get a GST...
I would pick a Lude or GSR cause they have better life and stress a lot less problems..also they have a much better re-sale price then a GST car...but u can't go wrong with either car..

not all gst's are fast
just because they come factory turbo doesn't mean they are the Sh*#T
i dont mean that i hate gsts or that they're not great cars, but don't bring them up like they are high and mighty
a stock lude/GSR will more than be able to hang with a stock gst
build quality honda/acura is still better than mitsubishi
my uncle drives a GSX and he's got a few suspension mods plus a boost controller
he's currently running at 4 psi higher than stock with a 20 psi raise in fuel pressure from an FPR
he's got around 225 whp and 230 wtq and runs 14.8@96 1/4 according to Gtech pro
my bone stock 5th gen i used to own lost by about a car and 1/2
it was AT too with the damn SS
now i just walk him with my ITR
they do make a lot of hp/tq but they are just too heavy

hahahaha B/S....^^^ sorry dude...but there's no way GSR or Lude stock can keep up with that mean MAD machine of a DSM all-wheel Drive Turbo with it's 210 plus Torque he'll not only kill u on take-off courtsy of "AWD" but leave u a good 5-7 car's behind courtsy of that Turbo killin' in and it's 210 plus Torque...also GSX and GST's weight 100 pounds more then a GSR and 100 pounds less then a 4th Gen LUDE!!
I mean maybe ur ITR can KEEP UP but JUST MAYBE!!
sorru dude by no means I'm I saying that GSX's or GST's r UNtouchable but it's like comparing a Big Dog vs a Puppy plain and SIMPLE!!

I would definately get the GSR. They are lighter and they make avery freakin oart for them. You could run 14's with a good driver and a short shifter.
My friend that is a girl can run 14.7 seven in a 98 civic vtech with only a short shifter.

gst have many problems . . turbo lag, not boosting right . . but when u get them running right they RUN . . GS-R's are slower but the gear ratio is excellent . . prelude is more of a race car, horrible back seats though . . in the end go with what will give u bang for your buck becuase any one of thsoe car can be mod'ed up to be fast

...I would rank them like THIS:
Picking up Speed "Rolling":
1. GST or GSX
2. 4th Gen Lude VTEC or 5th Gen
3. GSR (not far behind a 5th Gen but it CAN'T touch a 4th Gen VTEC)
Take Off...
1. GST or GSX
2. GSR
3. Lude (4th and 5th Gen's)
Passing Power
1. GST or GSX
2. Lude VTEC 4th or 5th Gen's
3. GSR
Control...
1. Lude 5th Gen's SH
2. GST or GSX (4-wheel drive baby)
3. 4th Gen Lude VTEC and GSR about the same Lude might edge out cause of the added weight...
Engine LIFE...
1. GSR and Lude's about the same
2. GST or GSX FAR-Behind
Raw Power
1. GSt or GSX
2. 4th Gen Lude VTEC
3. GSR or 5th Gen Lude's
Overall..."my opion"
1. Lude or GSR
2. GST or GSX
