I just swapped in another zc and every single time i do a swap i forget the order the wires go on, on the cap. I know the firing order but which ones go where on the cap? This is my last step so if you can help me out that would rock.

firing order(looking ad dizzy cap) upper right #1. lower right #3. lower left #4. upper left #2.
grounds-
thermostat housing
valve cover
transmission cable linkage
if u have spark n fuel then ur grounds shouldnt really be a problem. cam timing off possibly? does it even back fire?

How long does it take for fuel to go bad? The car has been sitting since probly december with a full tank and its been real cold here. Id say its been down to -15º at some points. could that be the problem? Is there a way to test if the fuel has gone bad?

fuel prob. isn't bad. you may need to switch the two white wires on the dizzy. make sure your timing is done with the marks on the crank shaft not the pully.( it's easier that way) and the cams should have the inner lines even with the block ( they should both point inward a bit. with twelve teeth from up arrow to up arrow.
Grounds are from battery to frame, frame to engine(on tranny) there should be a ground from the harness that goes to the water pump. one from the frame to the valve cover and one from the fuel rail to the throttle body.

fuel rail to tb? sounds like u got an addition to the factory harness there. water pump? sounds like another addition.

sorry not water pump.-> thermostat. I have the org. zc wiring harness and when i removed it. it had a ground from the throttle body to the fuel rail so i added mine from the fuelrail to the frame.
Any suggestions as to why i'm bogging at WOT and 1/2 WOT? it was running perfect yesterday........

alright, i figured it out. It ended up being that my fuel rail was clogged, real odd. When i checked for fuel, i tested for pressure at the banjo bolt but it ended up that none was getting past that. Runs nice now though and thank you for all your help once again.
