civic if you like to be like everyone else...dull
prelude if you like small sports cars that fly...
s2000 same as prelude...more expensive. oh, don't forget that insurance for convertibles are more.

Get a 5th gen SH and you won't be dissapointed. I can't say how much I love VTEC and ATTS

alas...if my car had ATTS it wouldn't have kept going instead of turning a lil too late into those saplings :( now i have to pour hundreds into making it perfect again

If you want to race:
Get a Prelude VTEC / Type SH, or if you can afford it, the S2000. It's quite a supercar, and the only Honda I dream of having besides the NSX. And of course, my Prelude.
If you want a daily driver:
Settle for the Civic Si. Unless you've got the resources and technical know-how (and a garage) plus time, modifications that make this car as fast as the above two are extensive and expensive. Modification on any car is, for that matter.

someone with the money to buy an S2000 isnt gonna piss around with a prelude, much less a civic...
wise up.
the s2g is in an entirely different class than the lude or the civic.

^-- What was said above.
The S2000 was made to race, a true sports car. The Civic was made to be reliable and cheap. And the prelude, well... Let's just say an S2000 will smoke the Type SH.

if you're willing to put up with no back seat and an extremely cramped interior with no storage space, definately go with the s2000. those things are a blast to drive. my second choice, obviously would be the prelude then the civic - all self explanatory. :p

Well, by the same token a tuned up Geo Metro could smoke an S2000 too :D.
I love the Prelude, but I accept my limitations. Wth less of a drivetrain loss (RWD) and much more power (240hp), the S2000 has enough to put us in our place. Plus nobody who buys an S2000 keeps it stock for long
S2000 if you want all out racing, Civic if you want something convenient, and Prelude if you want a balance of the two.

that's my vote.. it'd be different if the prelude was RWD.

thanks guys the reason im asking is that if i get the s2000 i cant really do any hook ups to it except like the basic stuff but if i get a prelude or civic i can to mad hookups but the civic si 2000 and prelude 1998 sh is almost the same price so i couldnt decide what i wanted.

Yeah seriously... I mean the s2000 is faster but I love any preludes style. There is alot more to a choice than just the speed...

I vote 4th gen Lewd (although i might be a lil bias) i like the body lines of them better, although 5th gens do come with more HP and have alot more parts out to modify them, but if I had the money I'd get an s2000 the 2004 are supposed to be better than ever with more HP better handling AND RWD. with a stock 14 sec. honda you just cant go wrong.

All s2000's are RWD.
The newer ones have greater displacement, a 2.2L instead of 2.0L.
