I am swapping a H22A into a civic and i was wondering if my factory civic radiator will work until i can get a bigger one, or will i need to go ahead and get the factory prelude radiator when i swap the motor?

youre going to need a bigger radiator...im not sure #1) if a prelude radiator will fit (im sure it probably will, or you can make it work) or #2) if a teg radiator will work.
for sure though you are going to need a bigger radiator...bigger engine=bigger radiator.

My buddy has had his h22 in his civic for right around a year now and he's used his stock civic radiator the whole time without any problems. The blades on the fan of the radiator is pretty close to his slave cylindar thought, and i've heard a ton of people say that the stock fan is too big and they usually trim it or get one that is thinner. But who knows if my friend is just lucky his radiator works fine; so I'd definently recommend an upgrade. But you're probably still looking at trimming or getting a thinner fan if you do upgrade to a larger radiator.

as long as you dont plan on running it hard every single day, the stock radiator will do you fine. after a few "spirited" driving sessions though, you might notice that it may start to over heat just a little. so i think that you can run the stock radiator for now, but for maximum performance, eventually go w/ an aftermarket one.

and i dont think that the 'lude radiator will fit into the civic.
