Hey, I'm new to this forum and glad such forum existed.

I got this cold air intake on ebay.

It included 1 S shaped chrome pipe and 1 L shaped chrome pipe and the cone shaped filter, with all the connecting parts.
The problem is I dont know how it goes on like its suppose to.

I can figure out where the S shaped pipe fits and where it fits, but I cant figure out what to do with the L shaped pipe since there is no space to place it.(they're both about the same length as the stock)

also there was 2 hoses connecting to the stock air intake, one to the engine head and the other to the back somewhere, but there is only one hole on the new intake pipe.

Appreciate it!

well if this is the CAI that mean the intake would end up in the grill so you will have to do some cutting to make the L shape pipe connect to the S shape and then down behind the battery and in to the grill. I don't know about the hoses mine came with Intake sorry can't help there

Also Full cold air intake is longer then the stock intake. but if its not the full CAI then cone would be just by the battery or close near it.

so you mean I have to widen the hole that leads to where the resonater once sat, and then place the filter on.

I've been looking at too many pictures with the air filter sitting beside the battery, which must of mislead me.

thanks man

if you got the 3" intake pipe, then you'll have to cut the hole, originally used by the box, bigger. The width of the stock hole is barely 2.5". The S-shaped piece with the small hole for the hose connects directly to the throttle body, the kit should come with a rubber seal.

The L-shaped piece connects from the end of the S-shaped piece and angles down through that stock hole that connects to the resonator(in the bumper).

Some cheap intakes only come with 1 small hole, but stock intake system requires 3: 1 from the throttle body, 1 from the engine cover, and 1 for the regulator in the resonator

thanks man,
I kinda got everything together.
my pipe goes through the stock hole alright.

I found out that the hose that came with the package is for the hose to the header, but not sure what to do with the smaller hose that connects to the intake manifold. any idea?

thanks

I got the same intake off ebay, here's what u do:
1) on ur stock intake, theres a little metal nipple that u can pull out with a pair of pliers, pull it out
2) drill a small hole in the sleeve that connects to the intake manifold
3) push the metal nipple through the sleeve (from the inside out), and make sure it kinda locks in place,
4) connect ur extra hose to the little nipple
make sure you have clamps of all ur hoses...
And your good to go...if u have problems u can IM me on AIM
LiLShoof
or you can email me and i'll help u with what i can...

It worked.

drilled a small hole to the rubber sleeve, secured the metal tip, and connect everything.
Got everything running great.
nice power and sound.

all i got to do is secure the pipe its self from viberating between the resonator hole, but that shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks for y'alls help, appreciate it.
