I need a new engine because mine is hydrolocked, which JDM motor will fit? JDM is all I can find like on ebay and stuff - junkyards dont even have it. I know that there was a difference in the 98 prelude SH's... like oil filter placement, but will it matter that much? thanks

from what i understand the filter replacement is essential because of the ATTS system which is the difference between the type s and the base models. so if it was me, i would do an immense amount of research before ordering the JDM H22. some of your questions would have to be well, where is the filter located on the JDM motor? you wouldnt think that the filter location would matter much especially since the atts is a handling feature anyway. you may want to have a moderator move this to the JDM forum, youll probably get a much warmer response in there. hope i could help and post up when you get more info on this
