Love the '92 Z34?

I got my 1992 Lumina Z34 after I graduated from high school and have been driving it for 6 years now. It was my 1st car and now I've got a bit over 144,000 miles on it and it still runs great, looks great, and feels great to drive. Well, life is moving on and I find my 1st car is no longer adequate for my needs. I'm moving and I really don't want to take it on a cross-country trip... so I must sadly trade it in or sell it to put some money down on a new(er) vehicle. How much fun that car has been and continues to be! I did have to have some engine work around 70,000 miles (I think that was the mileage!) but keeping up oil changes and taking care of it have provided me with a great car! Love that car! Anyone else had a similar experience with the Z34?

I almost got a free one in need of engine work. :( But my dad wouldn't let me borrow his truck to drive the 5 hours to DC to get it.

I'd love to have a Z34 lumina someday..but it's not at the top of my list...due to the high maitenance 3.4L motor.

It's not that high maitenance, just make sure the timing belt is changed around 60kmiles and there shouldn't be too many issues. But if something does go wrong, like a broken timing belt or alt dies, then have a fun time!

from detroit, how much you selling the Z for?

I know the timing belt was changed at 50K, and I've had it changed once or twice since then. In regards to selling... I'm looking for something around $1750... interested?

P.S. I really do love that car... the only reason I'm having to sell is that I'm moving far away and I need something with lots of room to haul my belongings. So sad... I've really gotten attached!

Hello... ive had my z34 lumina for about 5 or 6 years and i have around 170,000 miles and it can still cruise at 120mph.its a great car... plus its silver so it gives it a better look than the regular red i think. it is also my first car but i am selling it now just to move on to an older car... im looking for a 68-70 chevelle ss.
