No dash & parking lights! Related to remote car starter?

I have a 99 Lumina LTZ with a remote car starter. I recently noticed my dash and parking lights are all dead. Checked all fusses...OK. Stop lights & turn signals are OK.
Here is the weird part... When I use the remote to start car, the dash lights are ON and the tail lights flash (2 seconds ON/OFF). Once I get in car, insert key, and step on brake, the dash & tail lights die. Stepping on brake stops the timeout timer on the car starter.
I guess it could be the car starter brain, since the parking lights go into it. Even if no one can help, a link to the Lumina WIRING DIAGRAM would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure without looking at it. They should have done a simple install to the brown wire at the lightswitch to get the parking lights to work. I had a customer complain something simular but ended up it was the vehicle's settings with the dimmer switch and automatic lights. Once that was changed, everything was OK

What do you mean by "vehicle settings". Was the dimmer turned down to low? I have the same problem and unistalled the connection to the brown wire. It worked for about a week and now I'm back in complete darkness with dash lights and parking lights. The radio doesn't dim either (not sure if this is connected).

Not sure, sounds like a trip to the dealer. Like I said, it is a simple connection. I doubt it was a remote start problem.
