I have found that these forums are not very active. On top of that, there is not a ton of technical info. to be had. Mostly opinion and styling questions get answered. No offense guys.

ya i truly htink it is b*llshit that when you post a topic that nobody replies if people dont know then its fine understanable but if your telling me that 23 people looked at my message and 23 people do not know how to time this motor?? i need the help thanks for nothing

Dont give up hope yet. Im sorry I cant help you myself but there has got to be sombody on this board that can help you, they probably just havent gotten to your message yet. I havent checked if you have or not, but you might try posting in the "Lets get technical" forum, you might get more readers.

There's a little rubber cover below the distributor. Pull it out and you can see they flywheel. The marks are on the flywheel.
You might want to get a factory shop manual if you're going to do your own work. It tells you everything you ever need to know. Look up "Helm" on the net. 5th gen was $60.00.
