atts recall question

hey,
i know there was was a recall on a atts heat sheild that made a buzzing or rattleing noise on 97-? type sh models. i own a 97 sh and think that the work was not done to fix the by the previous owner (im buzzin heh). I was wondering if any of you guys fixed this your self and could give me some instruction,

Every Honda I've ever owned has had a rattling heat shield. My '86 does it now. Haven't had it long enough to mess with it. My advice...? Just take it off. Unless you park in tall, dry grass alot.
It saves weight, and that means better power to weight ratio! Yea boooooooy! :naughty:

i drove for three hours in 100 degree weather and parked my lowered car in tall, dry grass. nothing happened.
