Where do AEM short ram filters sit? Along side the battery? or further up? because all the pics don't look like they go down very far.

aem short ram is garbage in most aspects
it just draws in hot air from the engine bay
and is not really ram air true ram air is where
there is a hole in the front of the car or some type of slit that is right before an intake. ram air my ass i say to aem. dont waste your money
get a cold air intake and realize that you dont always have to get a brand name shop on ebay there is good stuff for cheap.
ex. my intake for my 92integra cost $55total w/shipping from XOXO racing in california and it is a true cold air system where the filter is in the bumber well one from aem would have set me back $250 or more
yea an with the intake i went from 15.7 1/4 to 15.6 in the 1/4

and to answer your real question the aem "short ram" sits in between the distributor and battery area to suck up all that nice horspower robbing hot air :evillol:

nice try, but it sits between the battery and fender and its really not that hot over there. still cold air will give you colder air. the best solution would be a short ram for the power with a custom cold air box for cold air.

just use the stock box and route a pipe to the front of the car somewhere to draw in colder air.
