How much did 944's originally cost

I just bought a 1984 944 and was wondering how much it would've cost new in 1984.

it should be on a tag under the hood or something like that.
mine is an 87 n/a and it was something like $22,000

nope you were right my 1983 944 was 21,000 (bought in germany, then shipped to the US)

The dealer sticker price on my '86 was about $28,500 here in San Diego, Calif.

mine was close to 40000 new its a 1989 944 Turbo, fully loaded:)

hi guys need some help, 85 944 still wont start it seems that there is to much fuel being injected on start up causing it to flood

Kind of funny place to poste that but it sounds like your injecters are stuck open. Not quite shur tho.
