Hey guys, i know this is a Prelude forum so I assume i'm going to get some bias ;) info but I'm still curious on what some think around here.
What's a better overall car; the Honda Civic Si (1999) or the Honda prelude 5th gen type sh. Me and some of my buddy's have different views; just wanna see what some of you think.

Assuming you're talking about '99 prelude sh over '99 civic si
Civic
- more roomy, trunk space
- lighter but not by much in comparison 400lbs?
- good hp, but low torque, you'll suffer when taking passengers going up 45 deg incline. 1.6L, naaaaahhhhhhhhhh :grinno:
Prelude
- more cramped (especially back seats, better than eclipse back seats though. Well, it's probably just cramped in my 4th gen, dunno about 5th gen's rear seats.
- bumpy ride
- way more torque ( you know what that means)
- doesn't suffer as much as civic when A/C is on
That's what I think. All depends on what you're going to use it for, just commuting with max 2 people, then I'd take Prelude. But if you're also going to move stuff, and maybe take some people with you, I'd take civic si.
But in my position right now, I'd take prelude SH over SI.

you don't deserve a dignified answer to that question. :nono:
seriously, think about it. just think about it.

hahaha,
well i'm an owner of a 5th gen prelude and I love it to death. For me it would be 5th gen all the way. I just wanted to see what other people think also. I'm an open minded individual.

Prelude all the way :bigthumb: I had to drive a civic around for a month when my car was in the shop, I was SOOOO happy when I got my lude back. It just felt better driving it. The civic felt way harder to acel. and not as much fun to drive.
