How hard is it to install block sleeves? i see these places charging like $750 for labor only... what is up with that? or am i just being a tightwad? I didn't think it would be that hard...

unless you have the equipment to press the original sleeves out and a mill to deck the block on installation of said sleeves, you're SOL.
when they say "drop in replacement", they dont literally mean "drop in the replacement".

Phunyguy..I agree it gets expense..the guy before was right..i got a good deal.i called a place in ventura ca. 644-9100. I got mine done including the sleeves for under 750.00. I found them at www.acautomotivemachine.com

wow - good job bringing back a 13 month old post... i've already done a motor swap since then and now im selling the car
