4th gen is 92-96.

5th gen is 97-01.

The prelude has been discontinued, so it's not current.

You know what my vote is.

to clarify...

3rd gen is 88-91.
4th gen is 92-96.
5th gen is 97-01.

i have a 3rd, so i'm heavily biased and love my car, but if you want the lightest, most potent performer with the stock mother of all big ass bad vtec honda motors, i'll go for the 4th gen as well...

all you have to do is build it. no swap required. nice...

That first picture, of the first gen, looks amazing! Howcome i haven't ever seen a first gen that looks like that??? Has anyone seen a 1st gen like that??? The ones that i have seen look simular, but not nearly as detailed. I really like that Picture, and if i ever see a 1st gen that truly has those lines, then i'm going to buy it!!

I have a 3rd Gen prelude. Its white. I love my car. I like that style honda's. I have driven a 4th gen, and compared to the 3rd, i think the 3rd handles better. I also think the 5th gen's look alot like the 3rd. But i think the 3rd are the BEST!!

I like different gens for different reasons.

Most handsome 3rd gen

Prettiest 4th gen

Most refinde 5th gen

Strangest 1st gen

I have owned 3rd gen and 2nd gen cars. The 2nd gen feels alot lighter and more responsive in regards to handling. It is alot of fun to drive. But I'll always miss my Light blue '89 S.
