Hey everyone I'm new to this board. I have a 1995 si prelude. I haven't done to much to it, just 17 inch 6 star white rims and altezzas. Any ideas on what to do next?

These kids are out of their minds. They have vandalized like 20 people's cars and when they do it they reallllllllly mess them up. Sad thing is they don't even have cars, so they could never understand how upsetting it is even when you see one scratch on your car never the less a freakin "new paint job" in various colors. I don't know they have been jealous of me all year. I got most beautiful for my senior superlative this year and it drove one of the girls crazy, Fucking haters suck!!

Man people are crazy. I let all these stupid teenagers around here know that if I catch them in our yard, let alone breaking in our cars, I got something for them. My brother cuts the grass and leaves the little gas can outside and they steal it everytime. This time he left it out on purpose with sugar in the gas and they stole it:cwm27:

LMAO that is hilarious. Kids here are really malicious if they know you look out for vandalizm they will try even harder to mess up your car, funny thing is I live in the "nice part" of the area. I'm a lil worried bc I'm leaving for college and I have to leave my car here :(

Trust me I do want to bring my car with me but my rents think I'll get out of control and just go everywhere so they won't let me have it my first year... which totally sucks. Know of any good alarms?

hey, u wanted some ideas on what to do to ur lude? Well my suggestions are exhaust headers , and intake. I got all that and an ecu upgrade for $1100. But hey thats just my suggestion.
PreludePrincess
08-11-2003, 10:37 PM
what kind of exhaust and intake do you have? The inatke I was looking at was like 500 alone...

08-11-2003, 10:40 PM
i got the aem cold air intake, and i had a apexi world sport exhaust with dc headers, but i switched the rear section out with a 5zigen fireball. The cai was liek 250 or somethin and the exhaust was 470. Got all this at www.LandspeedRacing.com.

:spit: 500!? It better be made of solid gold.. No intake is worth that amount of money. You can pick up some noname POS on ebay for like 25.

Can't you get a CAI for like $50?
stratpunkr
08-11-2003, 10:53 PM
sure u can get one for around 50 bucks. But most of those r cosmetic and just there to look cool. If u wanna good one ur gonna have to pay at least 150. I recomend Aem or injen. Ive heard those r the best and my aem on is awesome. But its ur car.

Would you have to trash your AEM CAI or any other after market, if you put on a turbo?
stratpunkr
08-12-2003, 04:40 PM
hmm...good question. It looks like it could sit in the way, but all the turbo cars ive seen have cai...but i dunno. I hope not
PreludePrincess
08-12-2003, 10:32 PM
if you get a turbo kit you have an intake pipe that leads straight to the turbo so u cant use a CAI
stratpunkr
08-13-2003, 12:12 AM
i dunno fella... i was jst lookin a a turbo engine and the intake pipes went right around the cold air intake...i might be wrong, and i prolly am cuz im a douchebag. Anybdy else have ideas? o and i got those pics miss sabrina.

Yeah but you'll need different ones for different parts of the US and abroad. Like for the south east, it could be a Wigger with a Civic (Sorry Civic people but we all know that is one of the top Ricer cars). Or a Redneck with a Mustang... :smokin:
Just to cover my ass on this, I used the Civic because of the reason stated above, and the mustang because... well .... atleast around here it is the most common car above the Civic.
By mustangs I mean Stock V6's, some 5.0's, GT's... Cobra's usualy you don't see a ricer get their hands on something like that. :icon16:

Is it just me or does it really bug you when the ricers all have the same body kit? Isn't one of the points of gettin a body kit to be different? All the civics here have the SAME body kit. It's funny cuz a guy I know claimed he designed his own, and like 2 weeks later a random guy had the same kit on his car :shakehead

Actually, my prelude formally ran 13.8 spinning all through the 2.2-3 60'.
And it was quite a bit less reliable than my TA has been.
In the 2-3 years I owned the prelude, I had replaced a motor, and a transmission. And two clutches.
I've owned the Transam a year almost, purchased it with 110k, and havent had one problem. :sunglasse
And please, I'm far from a Prelude hater. I've owned a few Preludes. I loved that car and spent fortunes on it. From a turbo kit, to paintjobs, rims, etc. If you all have any questions just ask. The 13.8 was no turbo, just nitrous, h/i/e. So don't come at me with some "american piece of shit car" perspective, because I've owned German, Jap, and American cars. Different strokes for different folks.
Maybe preludegoongju can post a picture of it

I hate NO cars - like he said up there ^ - different strokes for different folks. there are different classes of cars, so you can't really put one against the other and be realistic. I also have owned german, american, and jap. and they all have their share of pros and cons.

hmm sounds like a poll/topic, body kits, or aerokits, and good ones for a lude. this does not include any thing with more than 6 ish inches of bumper protrusion, those are prolly where rice starts, kits should be funtional, if they look good too all the better. but so many do not look good and are not funtional that it's silly  :2cents:
