dude, if you can find one get a real Apexi N1 exhaust, there not much more than the crappy knock off's if you find a good deal, i've seen one for as cheap as 45$ "Buy It Now" on eBay....just look around, you get what you pay for...

I picked up one of those "REMUS style Universal" DTM mufflers on Ebay.

It cost me a little more to have it mounted, since I needed a custom A-pipe fabricated for it (due to the design of the Accord's exhaust piping), but I love it. It sounds nice and throaty. The exhaust fabrication cost me $140, and I only paid $39.99 for the muffler. So, I ended up with a nice muffler/new A-pipe for under $180, and was still able to keep my stock setup if I ever need to bolt it back on. Sure beats $200+ for an APEXi or 5zigen setup.

OY, fuckface, I dont see anywere were it says "TIP" I see he says 4" exaust.
Anyway, why do you want one of those mellon launcher exausts anyhow? Just get yourself a hi-flow cat, some 2.25" piping and a nice straight through muffler if you want to make power. Oh yea, get the piping mandrell bent.

Stock cats are just fine, hi-flow's aren't even needed unless you're runnin' big HP, but seriously, get a universal muffler with mandrel bent 2 1/4" piping, and you'll get a few HP for around $200.

in my opinion, the actuall canister doesnt really matter as long as its straight through. All your gonna get with different exhaust canisters is a different sound and look.

Like hondabond said, mandrel bent piping matters, test pipe helps, and a header of course.

i still like the idea of the stock exhaust canister with 2 1/4 piping and a electric cutout. lol

Apexi N1's are nice sounding, everyone here has everything from Matrix Racing, to Flowmaster, to American Racing n stuff like that...pick up a Honda Tuning mag. or a Sport Compact Mag, most high quality companies advertise in the big mag's...but ont forget to search ebay, just to go eBay Motors and go to Car/Truck>Exterior>Exhaust and try searching for Civic, 88-91 Civic, Honda, etc.

what about the people that cant afford the good muflers that cost around 100+ and need to settle with something a little bit less. I mean i know i can barely make enough money to pay my car payments. but as long as you get the right type of piping, you can make it sound good.
