I've noticed thats my week area. I can take off farely well but getting it over 4000 takes longer then anything else. Once i pass 4000 i am fine. You guys know of anything?

Hondas make power above 4K!
Lightweight flywheel
Supercharger
Head work
Intake manifold Work
Simple bolt-on wont improve much of anything but noise. Intake, header, high-flow, cat-back exhaust should all be 1 mod. Doing 1 by itself really doesn't do anything besides the noise again.

dont go below 4000 just rev the snot out of it every where you go then you will not have to worry about the power loss. But really theres nothing you can do unless you change the motor to at least a d16. I beleive you have a 1.5 with the TB going Si motor would help you alot, least of all go with the fuel injection off a si.

Something foreign to Honda's...it's name is TORQUE. I love the saying "my lug nuts require more torque then your honda makes"

haha thats what i was thinking... or you could retard your timing, but that will take away your top end, or you could get a smaller exhaust, but that would also take away from the top end... so basically its a compramise...

the biggest thing you can do to make your car rev faster is a LIGHTENED FLYWHEEL.
Drivetrain is the most overlooked thing.
flywheel, clutch, Short gear ratio, Lightweight wheels, LSD
try a EXEDY flywheel, i traded my RC car for a Bran-new 8.5 lb one.

1 clydesdale could pull a beer wagon that weighed 33,000lbs - 1 foot in 1 minute or 500 pounds-feet per second.
:bloated:
8.5lbs is a little harsh for everday street driving

no bashing guys, its something i used to say when i was totally domestic... but at the same time its true. advertisments list HP figures because thats what most people know of b/c alot of the newer cars are high reving, unlike back in the day when HP and TQ were close together, mostly with ft-lbs being higher... and yes i know the equation, thanks for it again tho... but to answer your question, torque.

Maybe a smaller exhaust diameter?
It's a compromise.
Just get balanced.
