I was cruising down the highway and the car just died. It cranks fine and all the wires are intact and the ground cables are connected properly. I am almost positive that the ECM might have a problem in the quad driver or the swtich to turn on the the injectors. There's plenty of spark at various spark plugs and plenty of fuel reaching the manifold. I am looking at the prices for these computers and they are not cheap at 500.00 and up. So I just wanted to double check just to make sure that I am not overlooking something. I didn't change the steel exhaust manifolds and they generate a ton of heat and where the computer mounts on a steel plate I guess is not the smartest place to locate this unit. I only have a little over a thousand miles on the engine so I doubt any relays went bad. All fuses are good! Any one have any suggestions??
I also read from someone elses post that all of the injector connectors have to be removed in order to test with a noid light. I only checked with one off at a time. When we spray the throttle area with starter fluid, it will start right up.
