1996 Camaro 3.8 V6 Spark Plug Change

I have a 1996 Camaro with a 3.8 V6, and I want to pull the plugs, do a compression test, and replace the plugs and the spark plug wires.

The rear 2 plugs on each side seem very difficult to get at.

Does anyone have any advice on how best to get at them and complete the work above?

I don't think it is possible to replace them from above due to the brake booster on the drivers side and the A/C unit on the passengers side. I have done many camaro and Firebird tune-ups and have NEVER been able to get the rear plugs from above. If you look at the lower section of the windshield you will see that even the window is in the way from going straight down from above. I have always had to jack up those F body cars and get the plugs from below.

And as for doing a compression test...you will need to use a tester that has some length of hose on it and screw it into the spark plug hole because there isn't enough room to use the type of tester that is simply pushed against the spark plug hole.

I own a 00 bird, and it is hard but not impossible. as far as the plugs on the pass. side, all of them are easy, the only one that takes me an extra 5 min. is the one close to the fire wall on the driver side.
