Water in passenger rear floor area

I have a nagging problem in my 98 Riviera that seems to have surfaced in the last month or so... The carpet and floor in the rear is collecting water from somewhere and I cannot figure it out.

I thought it was perhaps a leaky/plugged sunroof drain or perhaps a bad window seal, but i think it must be A/C drain problem. The car has not been outside in the rain for almost two weeks now, but I have been using the A/C alot. I noticed water dripping from the battery vent hole (under rear seat) onto the pavement today. I first noticed the issue when I went to go change out my battery a while back the entire floor under there was flooded! I sucked it all out with the shop-vac and now its back.

How could the A/C condenser drain get water all the way back there and seemingly not get the front carpet wet at all? I will have to pull up the carpet and check the drain hose for this I guess. Anyone else ever experience this?

Where are the drain hoses for the sunroof? I cannot seen to locate these...

I did some investigating with the car up on the ramp and I could see the tip that was supposed to be glued on there was not attatched all the way. This allows the water to drain back inside the firewall and under the carpet till it reaches the low spot (rear floor)

Here is the picture of the rubber duck-bill tip and the sealant I used to re-attatch. That stuff is incredibly strong and sticks to almost anything! I'm drying out the carpet now but I'm sure she'll be good to go tomorrow! :)

Good tip Goose.. where is that fitting located? on the passenger fire wall looking from underneath? What does it drip into when operating normally?

Yes, it is on the pass. firewall just below where the glove-box would be inside. You can't see it from top side really. I tried to take a picture of it from below but it was too dark and my camera wouldn't focus at all.

It just drips water straight out of that duck-bill end straight down to the ground. When it is sealed up on the firewall properly anyway! :)
