F1 'hover' race car
Probably not something that all will like but it pertains to the topic of being a 'vehicle' that hovers. Like it or not, I'll give it a try by posting it here. There maybe some that like this kind of modeling.
Here is a 'What-if' model I have been working on for a while. Still not completely done but wanted to basically test out a homebuilt light box I built. So here are some shots of how it turned out after several editing in Infranview photo editor. Still not perfect but better than anything I have done. Again, the inspiration for this model was put into reality after seeing Igor Sobolevsky wonderful 3D art station work called 'Axiom Racing'. His 3d version is to 'die for'. Still need some touch ups in some areas and needs a stand, on a wooden base, when done. I am also figuring out how to make a canopy to cover the cockpit, as it does need one. And I will be adding a wing on the back. just have to figure out the design. Hope you all like this build. ------------------------------ I removed the steering wheel and scratch built dual joysticks. Each pairs are optional left to the driver to decide how he wants to have controlunch of the craft. There is a display panel in front of him that has all the info needed to power the craft. Everything you need to power the craft is in the gyros of the dual joysticks. The panel is only there as info and guide. Buttons are also available on sides and panel but again, these are pretty set before the race and can be access during the race if the need arises. In most cases it is not necessary.

Re: F1 'hover' race car
That is awesome. Very well done. Perfect weathering and natural used look.
I think it's great!

Is it more reliable than the current McLaren Honda? Because Button and Alonso need all the help they can get this year... :-O
Very cool build. looks great. Tim Savannah, Ga. |
