Mint Green R35 GTR

Hi guys,
My next project is underway. This kit was given to me by a very good friend who is also a keen modeller.
I thought I would do some thing different colour wise as my collection has alot of black and white cars (although I think they are the best colours)

I have chosen Tamiya TS-60 Pearl Green for my colour as it is the closest to mint green and the pearl is very cool too.

I also brought some Aoshima 20" BBS rims and the Tamiya PE kit for it.

The wheels have been primed and painted Tamiya gloss white.

The rear spoiler holes have been filled with styrene and Tamiya Light Curing putty. (where was this 10yrs ago!)

Body has been primed with Tamiya white primer and some more filling needs to be done.

So that's where I am at with this project, nothing major to be done with this. Just gotta make the Aoshima wheels fit and lower it a bit.
Cheers for looking.

Re: Mint Green R35 GTR

Cheers guys, not much of an update. Weather isn't the greatest for curing paint or primer.
I'm still touching up the boot where I have removed the spoiler holes.
But the wheels are done and I'm real happy with how they look.

Re: Mint Green R35 GTR

Now I wanna build this again since mine could have been better. But the modeling confessions thread bothers my conscience. Either way, good start up. Just dont start watching tv, or any of those other distracting things

Ha ha ha cheers, I know what you mean. I'd like to do over a few kits myself. Luckily TV is crap here at the moment, but my nearly 2yr old daughter is keeping me busy lol
