Ferrari 288GTO Fujimi 1/24
Fujimi 288GTO, some modified...(Widen all wheel arch, Shape up all the fenders and lines, fixed the shape of head light cover, made the slits after the light covers by plastic paper... This kit is hard to assemble even normally!!)
After a lots of hours, finished this work. I think this shape is similar to my image of 288GTO, not perfect though. So... now I am struggling with bunch of sanding paper and putty to make Revel 288GTO + Fujimi 288GTO 2 in one, full open model. Next one could be better (I will upload it maybe in 3-4 months) Last edited by Umihito; 03-06-2012 at 04:41 AM. Reason: to Post pictures |

Re: Ferrari 288GTO Fujimi 1/24
Thank you for your reply, your's is my first one!
But I don't know how the pictures can be between the lines as the other guys do.... and they look more fine, bigger sized pictures. I'll try some other way. |

VERY nice pics, great build! Nobody makes a decent kit of this wonderful machine, your mods made it very nice.
I found the pics to be pretty good. Some people will complain about thumbnails, but they give the viewer enough to look at to appreciate the work you did. Build ON! Carl

Nice interior. I think the outdoor lighting improves the look of the model.

My reply took time because I am the beginner of this forum...not knowing how to reply to particular comment. Since Tamiya's 288GTO 1/12 is too expensive for me, I am trying to do the similar job on 1/24. Please look forward to seeing it. Maybe it'll take another 3~4 month. With best regards, Umihito |

288GTO is all time favorite Ferrari, too. Since I see the rear section of Fujimi's kit to be a bit different and overall "fat", this time I choose "slim" Revell's kit. But this time, it has wrong face... (I sort it out already). Please look forward to seeing it!! |

Re: Ferrari 288GTO Fujimi 1/24
Gorgeous! I don't see a lot of these built, so it is a great treat. And you build it flawlessly. Thanks for sharing! I really like the interior and your paintwork is perfect!
