Custom Version of Honda Super Cub Fujimi 1/12

I decided to build the same Honda Super Cub as my friend Macio but as the custom version

I will try to rebuild my Honda like this one

But I will not be reconstructed at the rear of the frame as was done in the above Honda. I stay with the standard version with a sprung rear wheel.

I started from the cut. This is I cut from my bike

but let's start from the beginning.
So it looks like a standard frame

I have to cut the engine mount and a box with air filter

after

I'll have to mill the excess material from the head cylinder.
I changed the front fork mount.
This is standard solution by Fujimi

I want to redo a mounting solution that is used Tamiya in most of their models of motorcycles

What a cool project!

That 1:1 is the absolute dogs b*ll*cks...so much so, that I am looking for a second-hand Cub to build a full-size one for myself!

Re: Custom Version of Honda Super Cub Fujimi 1/12

Look in the net there is a lot of interesting modifications of this Honda.
It will be an additional inspiration

I started to modify the front fork

On my bike will not be front fender so I removed the mounting - red 1
I will change the way the wheel fixing. This is standard version

I'll use the axis and the nut so I cut the pin and plastic nut - red and green 2.
Plastic nut green 1 and 3 I will change for metal parts. No. 1 is too big.
From the inside I did plugs in accordance with the original

I removed the bolt which mount fender - green 4.
I also removed cap and I made such a specific hole with 2,4mm styrene tube - green 5

Re: Custom Version of Honda Super Cub Fujimi 1/12

Continued work with a fork.

Fork glued together. I made such an overlay on top of the fork

after installation and initial treatment

I noticed that the fork of a set is different than at the motorcycle on which I was inspired.
So it looks fork from the box

and this is fork in this small chopper

I'll try to do something similar

Re: Custom Version of Honda Super Cub Fujimi 1/12

I added some imitation of seams and edges of sheet metal

after primer

To attach the wheels and the fork I will need a long screw with a diameter of 1mm.
I decided that I'll do it myself

Re: Custom Version of Honda Super Cub Fujimi 1/12

I started doing the mounting handlebar to the fork

from the bottom plate will be used to mount the lamp

and this is a lamp

I also tried to do handlebar

looks nice but I think that is probably a little too thin.
