2001 Passat 1.8T AUG wont start no spark

Been running well, no spark, good fuel pressure (and cranks / spins well.
Pulls P1531 code Camshaft Timing open Circuit ..

Could it be the ICM (ignition control module) (Does the AUG have an ICM..I cant see it on the air box??

I've replaced the Hall effect module cam timing module on intake camshaft...all the fuses are good.. ?? No sparl.
