2 questions (primers and photo-etched stuff)
Can I spray laquer over an enamel primer, or should it be lacquer over lacquer (just b/c I have some enamel primer left over, but no prob buying a new can of lacquer)?
Also, where to get photo-etched parts online besides HLJ? I'd like to pay less shipping if possible. I just got the Tamiya Porsche GT2 street version and Evo VI WRC and want to add mini seat belts for detail. Thanks, Aaron |

Pricing is good and shipping should be cheaper. Paint compatability rules apply, don't spray lacquers over enamels.

Model Car Garage (http://www.modelcargarage.com ) focuses on hot rods and vintage cars, but they make photoetched seat belt buckles and fabric material. Good luck!

I use the detail master belts, they look great. Well, at least the hardware. The belts look rather paperish. Next time I use them I will try them with painted masking tape like crismag did on his EVO ( here ). His hardware was scratchbuilt, though, so I don't know how easy it will be to do with the detail master parts (it's already a huge pain to thread the belts through the buckels.)
Anyway, good luck with it all, and I want to see that Porsche!
