Who's gonna win the San Marino GP 2003?

Simple question, who's going to win it?

Well depends on the wheather, cause rain is predicted... Oh no, not again a rain race! Anyway, when it stays dry, it's gonna be close, but I think DC is in top form, will have the right strategy and will pip Schumacher with just a couple of seconds.

Here's my podium:
1. DC
2. MS
3. JPM

Schumacher can't screw up for the fourth time straight can he?

He has to be the firm favourite once again, Imola beign Ferrari's backyard and all. Barrichello will do well too untill he breaks down/runs out of fuel again of course. Hope Coulthard and Kimi can scoop a Mac one-two, order of those two is irrelevant.

Also hope the true Ford/Jag balance is restored and Mark Webber shows Eddie Jordan up for the smug so and so he is!

So my wished for podium is:

Kimi or DC
DC or Kimi
Mark Webber

What's likely

The Chin
Rubino
Cubehead or the Iceman

If Zonta is in with a chance then Alex Wurz should go well too!

So far in Q1 Ferrari are in a league of their own. Can't complain!

Ferrari 1-2 isn't really a surprise, is it? Hope Bridgestone got their act together. BARs ahead of Macs, but then again, Macs were the sweepers today. The biggest surprise is Webber's performance. Jags are indeed fast. Only unrelaible and with inexpericenced drivers.

Looks like the Bridgestones are the tyres to have and Ferrari are reaping the benifits. Williams are back to the pace as they usually are on lowish downforce circuits. Look at Webber! This guy is coming good McLaren are very dissapointing, hopefully experimenting with high fuel loads.

Well this shouldn't be too much of a surprise. Afterall Ferrari and McLarens are modif cars from last year, so on high speed tracks we should get the same picture as last year. Probably there is still a power gap between Mercs and BMW's/Ferraris.

Jaguar should be no surprise either since they collected 70 laps of data during the morning test session and BAR probably on light fuel load.

I'm thinking that with a 1-stop strategy and high-fuel load McLaren might have a chance with the Michelins. We'll see tomorrow when it reallt does count and if it rains or not.

Guido, it's Friday, remember? Everyone can have as much or as little fuel as they want, and this is the only day that they can go as fast as the drivers themselves/setup/car/track permit. Bottom line, they were all on the same fuel loads.

And one more thing: there's a reasonable possibility of rain tomorrow and a very high probability of it on Sunday. :stormzap:
