Good News For Michael Schumacher Fans
I just found some good new for Michael Schumacher fans, but bad new for the other F1 drivers . The following article is from TSN.ca.
Schumacher signals intent to continue Michael Schumacher says as long as he can continue to compete with the younger drivers, he will continue to race in Formula One. The five time world champion once again put to rest speculation that he will call it a career once his contract at Ferrari expires in 2004. "I'm a long way off that," he tells the Stuttgarter Zeitung. "I want to race many more years in Formula One. What happens afterwards doesn't interest me yet." Schumacher, who has led the revival at Ferrari since signing with the Italian team in 1995, says as long as there is stability and he remains motivated, he will remain at Maranello. "I'm the one they're trying to knock off the pedestal and it's good like that. Better to be dethroned than never to have reached the highest step." Schumacher captured his first win of the season two weeks ago in San Marino and the debut of Ferrari's 2003 chassis has the reigning world champion highly motivated that the season is about to turn around in their favour. Reading that this morning made my day . |
