Trucks on the Cutting Edge

Four of the "Top Ten Tech Cars" named by the IEEE's Spectrum Magzine are SUVs or pickups. The trucks include production vehicles, such as the Volvo XC90 SUV which features an advance system for maintaining vehicle stability, a hybrid-electric Lexus SUV, and a hybrid Chebrolet Silverado pickup featuing a generator that allows you to plug 110 vole AC devices into vehicle.

Light trucks are leading, not lagging, when it comes to deployment of fuel saving and other high techology innovations.
