Unusually High Mileage
Hello,
New member here and I had a specific but strange issue concerning mileage on a 2018 Corolla. We just bought it for our 16 yr old daughter, just had the first oil change that was recommended at 10K and that was on 6 April 2019. Since that date, just 37 days ago, the maintenance light is back on and it reads 18K+. That's roughly 216 miles per day which is impossible. A bad day would be more in the realm of 45-50 miles. Does anyone know of any circumstance in which the odometer/computer could mess up and skyrocket like that? Thanks ahead. Eric |

Re: Unusually High Mileage
It is possible that your odometer has been changed to register the mileage in km instead of miles. Check your owner's manual to find out how to change it back. I think 18k would be about right if it were km.
